Guémené-sur-Scorff is a small but lively town 20 kms west of Pontivy in Morbihan, South Brittany.

Remnants of the medieval chateau remain though it was destroyed in the late middle ages and many of the existing old houses have been built from the stones of the chateau.  Guémené-sur-Scorff has been granted preliminary permission to become an "Petit Cité de Caractère" which hopefully will be confirmed in two years.

Guémené has a cinema, mediathèque, tourist office, restaurants and many more facilities.
The Portes De Bretagne door poster features 68 high quality photographs of some of the most beautiful doors and doorways in Brittany.
